This is an Aerial photo of the SS Troop area of the Dachau facility. This area was later occupied by U.S. troops.

This is the leather satchel that my father brought home from the service. It is our understanding that it was a gift given to him while he was at Dachau. The Muster on the Elbe program I found was stored neatly in one of it's compartments. Unfortunately the TD logo has lost some of its detail.

Glenn W. Coup (on right) standing in front of the PWE-29 (prisoner of war enclosure #29) sign. The sign is located along the road to the Camp Entrance, just to the left of the Eicke Platz (Eicke Square) and in front of the furniture and clothing works.

As you can see from this partial I.D. card from the Dachau facility, not only was Capt. Arendt there but the commanding officer for the 6th TD Grp was a Lt. Col. John A. Beall. A bit of research has revealed that Lt. Col. Beall was a transfer from the 702nd TD Battalion on June 4, 1945.
