My grandfather, TEC-5 Clifford Ferguson was with the 632 TD Bn, Company A, from 1942 to 1945. This site has brought be so much excitement and joy. I searched high and low for documents and photos from his time there (before his passing in 1996, but was not able to find much. Finding these documents and photos from his time there with bring so much joy to his sons and daughter. It's going to be an honor presenting the items found here to his lone surving brother. Sorry for rambling. God Bless you and thank you so very much for organizing this site. Thank you. Patrick ferguson

My Dad, Bob Iulo, was extremely proud to serve his country. Always told us of the men he served with and what they went through together. They were treasured memories of his. Thank you for all of your hard work creating this website to honor our loved ones. What a magnificent tribute! God Bless America!

Didn't know this existed. Tried to get my dad's dd214 but apparently the building that housed his info (and others) burned. Apparently, all his info was lost. Any info on my father, Suyford Hebert, 822 HQ would be very much appreciated. A picture of the battalion shows him to be on the second row, 8th from the left.
Thanks,
Cullen Hebert

Am continuing research on John Lindberg, who was in a Quarter Master Company with his buddy, (unknown), and ended up at Dachau. They were put in charge of storing and shipping American POW parcels that Germany failed to send on and used them for DP camps. (UNRRA Releif?)
It looks like the QM Co. was with the 6th TDG. From what I can tell the 6th was at Dachau, before it became the 5th Constabulary.
Questions:
Any idea, what unit number the QM Company was?
Was UNRAA run after 6th TDG became5thConstabulary?
Lindbergs say he worked the railroad depot with SS troops and his buddy worked the warehouse. Where the in the Dachau camp or nearby...?
Says Polish troops provided security. Any idea on what units they were with?
Thanks,
Sgt. Mac

Am researching a friends dad's uncle who served aboard numerous Liberty ships. After his naval days, he joined the Army.
I am now reading part of his story where he went to camp Hood for training and ended upate the Dachau Camp, guarding German POW's
Have just begun my research on our site, but a quick glance, looks like you have the information I'm looking for.
My research will result in featuring his story on my military blog and also submitting it to his family.
