My dad, Sgt.John Esposito was a member of the 601st tank destroyer batallion. He passed away in 1993. I am interested in information about his experiences. Unfortunately, we did not talk much when he was alive about his service in WWII. I wish we had.

My Dad, Harold Masonick was a tank commander in the 633 tank destroyers, He passed away in 1982 and I was never able to learn much of that time of his life. He was from Chicago and also became a Chicago Police Officer unpon leaving the military. I found fifty some names from his military unit. Looking for some information. Thanks

I am writing a book on the WWII experience of RAF Flight Officer Robert V. Jubb, who was shot down on November 2, 1944, near Dusseldorf and never captured. He made his way to an artillery battery of the Ninth Army on November 7, 8, or 9. He was interrogated by two Ninth Army Captains, and later transported by an African American enlisted man to a British Army unit in Namur, Belgium. I am researching the Ninth Army's advance from October through November, 1944, and would appreciate any help or recollections. see www.thejubbyproject.com

My daddy, Sgt. Allen D. Fields, served in CO C of the 629th Tank Destroyer Battalion. Daddy passed away in January, 1998. He never talked much about his role in the war, but I do know he received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star, which he received for action on February 3, 1945, somewhere in Germany. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers him.

I'm looking for information for a friend's father who was in a TD unit in the Philippines. I don't know which unit. I'd give the website a higher rating but the AAR PDF's I've been looking up come up as blank black pages. Frustrating! Other than that, good info.

You will need to check them individually to see which ones may have spent time in the Philippines. -Rob
